A note from the founder and CEO
I waited almost five years for my own green card. I understand how frustrating it is. I built Case Album to make this part easier for you.
You are welcome to look around and try everything for free. Please send us a message: tell us what you would like to see, what is difficult, or what is not working.
- Your photos, documents and case details stay on your phone or computer. We never receive them.
- We never sell or share your information.
- Payments are handled by Stripe, one of the world’s largest payment companies. Your card number goes to Stripe, never to us.
- Stripe asks for your name, email and billing address (needed for sales tax). We use your email only to send your receipt and to help you if something goes wrong.
- Case Album is a U.S. business based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
What stays on your device
Your photos, documents, captions, names, places, dates, receipt numbers, A-Numbers and case details stay in your browser, on your phone or computer. The PDFs you make are created there too. None of this is uploaded to us.
The NIW, EB-1A and RFE organizers also read and build your packet on your device. Photos in HEIC, TIFF or WebP are turned into JPEG on your device.
Your browser can lose this data if you clear its history or site data, use a private window, or the device runs out of space. Save a backup if you want a second copy. An album backup can have a password. A packet backup is a normal ZIP file without a password, so keep it somewhere private. Do not use a shared browser for private case material.
What we keep when you pay
We keep only what we need to give you your purchase, send your receipt and help you:
- Marriage album: your purchase email, order code, a random album number, the plan, the amount, the payment and refund status, and the dates.
- NIW, EB-1A and RFE organizers: a random project number made on your device, the product, the amount, the payment status, the dates, and a scrambled (one-way) copy of your private recovery code.
- DV photo and passport kit: a random number for your browser, the order code, the amount and tax, the payment and refund status, whether the purchase has been used, random batch numbers (not made from your files), the dates, your purchase email, the language and site address for the receipt link, and scrambled copies of your recovery codes and purchase cookie. One small cookie, casealbum_dv, remembers your DV purchase. Page scripts cannot read it, it is only sent to the DV purchase service, and it lasts about 62 days.
When you save a paid album PDF, your device also sends a short scrambled code made from the album. We keep it with the order only to know whether the album changed, so you can save the same album again. It does not contain your photos, captions or case details.
Your DV photos, passport images and file contents never leave your device. They are never sent to us, to Stripe, or by email.
Payments by Stripe
You pay on Stripe’s secure page. You type your card number there, and it goes to Stripe only: we never see or store it. Stripe handles payment, tax, fraud checks and disputes under its own privacy policy.
Messages and emails
When you write to us through a form on this site (for example Support or Refunds), your name, email and message are sent to our inbox through our email provider, Resend. Please do not include photos, documents or case details in a message.
Finish reminders. If you ask the album builder to remind you, we keep the email you enter, a random album number, the number of photos and the language, and send one email about a day later. If you paid for that album, no reminder is sent. We use that email for nothing else and delete it 30 days later.
Email updates. If you sign up for email updates, we keep your email, language and the dates you joined or left. You are added only after you confirm, and every email has an unsubscribe link. Receipts are separate from these updates.
How we improve the site
We count anonymous visits, like how many people open the album builder, to improve the site. No recordings, no names, no ads.
To do this, your browser keeps a random visitor code that is not linked to your name, email, payment or IP address. With it we see the pages opened and the steps taken, where the visit came from (for example Google or Facebook), the kind of device, the language and, in the album builder, the number of photos and documents. Never a photo, document, name, caption or case detail. These visits are deleted after 60 days. Clearing your browser’s site data removes the code.
We do not use advertising trackers, face recognition, or AI to look at your files. Our hosting company may count visits in general. Photo locations are turned into city names on your device and are never sent.
How long we keep records
We protect our systems with care, but no website or device can be perfectly secure or always available. We keep payment, tax and support records as long as the law and payment rules require. To remove your work from your device, use Start over, delete the project, or clear your browser’s site data.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may ask to see, correct or delete the information we keep about you. Your photos and case work are only in your browser, so we cannot see, return or delete them for you. For purchase or support records, send us a message. We may need to confirm it is you, and some records must be kept by law.
You can stop using Case Album at any time. Before Start over or clearing your browser, save a backup if you may need your work later.
