Use of the service

Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Case Album, including the Marriage Case Album, the photo album template and the NIW, EB-1A and RFE organizers. Before a paid checkout, you must actively accept these Terms and can review the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. The service

Case Album provides local tools for arranging user-supplied files into labeled PDF documents. The Marriage Case Album arranges photographs, captions, and case details into a chronological preview and PDF export, and can add supporting documents as exhibits. The EB-2 NIW Evidence Packet, EB-1A Evidence Packet and RFE Response Organizer arrange documents you supply into labeled exhibits with an index, bookmarks and a PDF export. Features, limits, prices, and availability may change. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, browser limitations, storage limits, or events outside our control.

2. Eligibility and responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for having permission to use every photograph and personal detail you enter.

3. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for every photograph, document, name, caption and other detail you add, including having the permission of the people shown and of the owner of each photograph or document. Case Album does not review, verify or own your content and is not responsible for it. You must review the output before relying on it. You must not use Case Album to create fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized material; interfere with the service; bypass a payment or access control; or submit another person's private information without permission.

4. Legal boundary

Case Album is not a law firm, attorney, accredited representative, government agency, filing service, or official USCIS product. It does not provide legal advice or guarantee an immigration result. It does not decide whether you qualify, choose or draft your evidence or arguments, calculate or track deadlines, or file anything for you. You decide what to include and what to send. The Disclaimer and Privacy Policy are part of these Terms.

5. Local content and backups

You retain responsibility for your photographs, documents, originals, captions, notes, and case information. Most content is processed locally and may be lost if your browser data is removed or the device fails. You are responsible for making and protecting backups and for keeping the PDF files you save. In these terms, “save” means saving (downloading) a file that Case Album makes on your device. Case Album does not keep copies of your albums, projects, or files and cannot recover them. A packet backup is a plain ZIP file that is not encrypted, so keep it somewhere private.

6. Paid features

Prices are one-time commercial prices for the selected tool, not USCIS recommendations. Applicable tax may be added at checkout; Stripe shows the total before payment. Previewing, organizing and saving backups do not charge you. A paid export is available only after the payment provider confirms payment. Payment processing, receipts, and card handling may be performed by a third-party payment provider under its terms.

Marriage Case Album. Each payment lets you save one album once, exactly as it is when the PDF is made. The same, unchanged album can be saved again for 24 hours; after any change, a new export is a new purchase. A purchase is final, except as the Refund Policy or applicable law provides.

EB-2 NIW, EB-1A and RFE organizers. The EB-2 NIW Evidence Packet and EB-1A Evidence Packet are $79 each, and the RFE Response Organizer is $39. Each payment buys export access for one project for 30 days after the payment is confirmed. During that time you can change that project and export it again. A new project or case needs a new purchase, and access ends when the period ends. Access is tied to a private recovery code saved with the project on your device. A backup file includes the code only if you choose that option. A purchase is final, except as the Refund Policy or applicable law provides.

Photo album template. The template is $9.90. Each payment buys one Word template for the case type and layout you choose before checkout, for your own personal use. You can save it for 30 days after payment with the link on your receipt. A purchase is final, except as the Refund Policy or applicable law provides.

DV lottery photo and passport scan kit. Preparing, checking and previewing files are free. One purchase of $4.99, plus any tax shown at checkout, lets you save one prepared batch: the photos and passport scans in it, as one ZIP file, or as one JPEG when the batch has a single file. Saving again, even the same files or a changed batch, needs a new purchase. An unused purchase can be used within 60 days of payment and then ends. If saving is interrupted, you can finish that same save without paying again, up to 5 times within 24 hours of starting it. The files are made and kept only on your device. Case Album never receives them and cannot restore them, so keep them safe after saving. The link in your receipt email can open an unused purchase or an interrupted save in another browser; it cannot restore files. The automatic checks read the file and give rough warnings; they are not approval. Checking each file against the official DV rules before you pay is your responsibility; Case Album is a tool. Case Album is not the U.S. government, does not submit entries, and cannot promise that the State Department accepts a photo or scan. Purchases accepted under the earlier DV kit terms keep those terms. A purchase is final, except as the Refund Policy or applicable law provides.

Promotion codes. We may share promotion codes, including a code sent with receipts for you to give to others. A code gives the discount stated with it, taken off the price before tax. One code can be used per order. It cannot be combined with another code, has no cash value and cannot be applied to a past purchase. Each code ends on its expiry date, and we may change or end a code earlier, for example if it is misused; an order already paid keeps its discount. Sharing a code earns you nothing. A refund is limited to the amount actually paid.

7. Intellectual property

Case Album and its software, design, text, branding, and bundled assets are protected by applicable law. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service. You may use your own exported material for your lawful purposes. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or commercially redistribute the service itself except as permitted by law.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and exported files are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, legal sufficiency, accuracy of user-entered information, or fitness for a particular filing or purpose.

8a. Your content and claims by others

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Case Album and its operators from any claim, loss or cost, including reasonable legal fees, that arises from the photographs, documents or information you add, from your use of other people's images or personal details, or from your breach of these Terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Case Album and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, filing costs, missed deadlines, or an immigration decision arising from or related to use of the service. For a paid transaction, the total liability for that transaction will not exceed the amount paid for the affected transaction, except where applicable law does not allow that limitation.

10. Refunds, disputes, and fraud prevention

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy and applicable law. You must not submit false refund information, dispute an authorized charge after receiving a refund, use another person's order code, or attempt to obtain an export without payment. We may suspend access, decline a request, or cooperate with a payment provider when we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, or unauthorized use.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms, suspend features, or discontinue the service. Continued use after an updated version is posted means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

12. Governing law and notices

Questions about the service should be sent through the Support page. Any notice required by law should use the contact information published with the service. Subject to mandatory consumer law, disputes should first be raised through the available support channel so the parties have an opportunity to resolve them informally.
